THE CALIFORNIA FIRES

Mayday, Mayday California is on Fire.

I am devastated these days by the California fires,
mayday, mayday, hurried, rushed and ordered to evacuate,
you must get to safety and stay out of the fury of the fire’s way,
for we that know the danger of fire and destruction does not play,
a fire can change your life in minutes on one hour of a day.

In California a climate of fierce flames of wildfires, has arrived,
gray and black smoke, haze, with orange hues, darkness in daylight skies,
burning and torching hot with homes and buildings crashing down,
the disaster of these fires, hot and scorching, no end in sight as of now.
Air quality down, nowhere to run, nowhere to turnaround.

These wildfires are lit like giant size molten coals of amber, glowing in a forest size barbecue pit,
harboring degrees of the triple digits Fahrenheit,
Mother Nature delivered a show for California with strikes of lightning,
that struck out all electricity and all the light. I remember it started lightning outside my window one night.

Explosions, implosions, over here and over everywhere,
I thought I saw a tunnel,
my eyes were burning; dripping tears; what an illusion,
for the tunnel was not there.

The only lights were dry ashes held with embers and sparks.
eyes so blurry at this moment,
I could not see usual surroundings,
nor could I even see the park.

Winds gusting, lots of crackling, melting down everything in sight,
the fire started raging like a bull to defeat the matador,
while taking down more wires and trees, scalding, blazing, and blistering
Lord please relax this force of nature, bring it to a halt and make it alright.

The California fires are overwhelming and overpowering,
spewing vapors, while delivering catastrophic fumes that are devouring,
a poisoning breath of strife, toxic in every way as well as killing off our wildlife.

The California fires are additionally destroying roads, no outlets,
bringing more heat to these wildfires along with everything in its path.
I feel this need to say more for Mother Nature is rolling out her power, of a furious wrath.

This is another atrocity to add to the present day battles we have in suffering all over this world, so much to face right now, I oftentimes wonder, what else is in store for a world which seems to be continuously trembling down.

People in and of the Golden State are unsure where they stand,
All I can say is keep your faith, lift and love one another, your fellowman.
For in this way our reach can pull us through this furious smothering all over California land.

For California and fire detection, we leave this to the Lord to keep us protected,
so we may continue to move in the right direction.
For in this year of twenty twenty, through the embers of wood from nature’s trees, I can continue to feel the hope of a resurrection.

I can pray for Mother Nature to calm the winds down and bring all to safety,
I can and will pray for the firefighters too, for they are working overtime to save me and you. Thank you firefighters with Blessings to you all for the courageous, heroic frontline work you all do.

I am taking this time to write this bit of some California fire history and herstory down. For I am living in these California dire straits moment by moment, in an unprecedented time as of right now.

Mother Nature sends heat warnings along with gusts of wind,
a higher rage of nature, feeling this in my heart, I cannot smile right now as the fires continue to roar.
For too many more of these fires can easily end up at my front door.

Pray for California.
