BEAUTY

Beauty is not only skin deep,
Beauty is a feeling we all have for keeps,
Beauty is radiance it shines either out or in,
Beauty is a light it reflects a beacon from within.

Beauty is not without perfection or flaw,
Beauty is to embrace your love laws,
Beauty is your unique gift, traits and quirks,
Beauty is you stand out with what works.

Beauty is not about judging or being denied,
Beauty is universal let it shine far and wide,
Beauty is about being beautiful on the inside out,
Beauty is what a true heart of love is all about.

Beauty is not what shows to some on a face,
Beauty is a blessing we can share with dignity and grace,
Beauty is a spirit that shines bright and true,
Beauty is a light it guides us through and through.

Beauty is not a size nor a shape,
Beauty is all the love we create,
Beauty is our hearts, minds and soul,
Beauty is what helps us to remain whole.

Beauty is an enhancement to life with love,
Beauty is an honor sent from above,
Beauty is kind, in most every way,
Beauty is what makes us happy each day.

Beauty is another way God blessed us all to be,
Beauty is an awesome way to relate and also to agree.
Beauty is nature for we the eye holders to see,
Beauty in nature is to nurture us with the air we all need to breathe.

Beauty is unique, also special, no doubt,
Beauty is what makes us smile within and without,
Beauty is to hold your head up to the most high,
Beauty is to never let your love light die.

BUT

Time waits,
But listen to the clock’s ticking,
It tells it,
Stars sparkle,
But the blink twinkles,
For all to catch it,
Eyes wide open,
But not always seeing,
Tears dropping,
With emotion,
But still believing,
Eyes crying,
But emotion not there,
Flags flying,
But surrender is everywhere.

Too much,
But not enough is real,
So much,
But got enough is the deal,
Hey man,
But hey lady is first,
No water,
But dry mouths thirst
Sky is sunny,
But sun is bright,
Moon is aglow,
But in the dark,
Shines a beacon of light at night.
So many lies,
But truth is belief,
So much violence,
But the toll is grief.

Love is in need,
But energy is untimely forsaken,
Earth is grounded,
But movement is shaken,
Seed is planted,
But life still arrives,
Whilst peace not granted,
But detriments will not save lives,
Laughter shrugs pain,
But smiles still  remain aware,
Sadness is strength,
But suppression is despair.

Walking through ruins,
But destruction is already done,
Thinking out loud,
But sound quieted by gun,
Chaos is confusion,
But changes can create repair,
Sit still to earn,
But stand still for there is more to learn,
Trying to implicate minds,
But memories flatline implications all the time,
Make a way to open up,
But until a closed mouth get totally
fed up.

So much to show,
But less of nothing to tell,
Put together new  pieces,
But allow solutions to prevail,
If one cannot resign from negativity on the banner,
But one can uphold the beauty of
life in a respectable,
But beautiful, loving,
But also kind manner,
This is all I will say,
But… um..um..um..um..um……..but.

SHE WAS SUN

Naturally delivers a ray of Hope

She was Sun,
She sets by a ray of light,
Whilst going down, coordinating color,
She would rise by light of day to brighten it,
She was Sun,
She glares through the internal focal window.

She was Sun,
She awakens the sky of heavenly light,
When raising up, she comes to enlighten the day,
She endures thee darkness to bring light,
She was Sun,
Shining brightly, like an always lit lantern.

She was Sun,
She sustains the sky, for it’s never ending gleam,
Ultimately she extends sovereignty inside a moment feel,
She allows more light to lift internal spirit,
She was Sun,
Energizing the nature of well being

She was Sun,
She fulfills a sight unseen to be seen,
Whenever she glows up, many winter’s relief prevail,
She shines the electrical firework spark, setting off light,
She was Sun,
Storms come to an ending at this time.

She was Sun,
She evens the blinding sands upon plains,
Always ready to brighten, for what is next she has in store,
She prospers from a healing of health and nature,
She was Sun,
Seasons change, equating a change to nurture.

She was Sun,
She radiates power with emergence,
Always able to melt the freeze of shivers,
She turns up light into a new morning day,
She was Sun,
Naturally delivers a ray of Hope.

She was Sun.

JUST A PERSISTENT SHADOW

Just a persistent shadow,
Climbed through the window of my mind,
Thought out loudly,
Eyes wide open,
Tried to shake the shadow,
It was a breeze of an incoherent being.

So persistent,
So debilitating,
For through this shadow was pain,
Pulled the safety off,
Breathed in so deeply, exhaled so calmly,
Strength took over and let it go.

The aftermath was serenity and delight,
The reality was, it came by way of vibration,
A break of thought was required,
This was one heck of a break,
For this was just a persistent shadow.

A MAN NAMED SICK ©

I knew this man

I knew this man named Sick,
The way he talked and the way he walked,
I knew he was slick,
He told me he was sharp on his game,
I told him truth would be his claim to fame.

Sick said he didn’t have to play by the rules,
I told Sick, he could end up in all the wrong schools,
Sick said, I am too damn overtly clever,
I said Sick, you are headed to that place called never,
Sick spoke about all he would do not to get to that place ever.

I told Sick to rethink his thoughts and change his ways,
Sick said, why should I? I’ve been doing this all my days,
I said, I don’t care what you do,
I’m giving you advice, just to help save yourself from you.

Sick just laughed at me and said, listen woman you can’t tell me nothing
that’s already embedded in my head,
I told Sick, you are so animated, inadequate, ignorant and not well read,
For the consequences of your lesser deeds of what you portray are gonna get you busted all upside your head.

I felt in my gut, this would be the last time I would ever see Sick again,
Knowing him from childhood and the neighborhood, he had become sin,
Moving forward from our conversation that day, I felt a need to pray,
For I knew Sick would not live a long life doing things in his way.

My day was done, so I decided to watch the six o’clock news, to my dismay,
The news struck my nerve about the conversation I had with Sick that day,
The reporter said, a young man was struck down by three bullets to the head,
News traveled fast from the neighbors, saying it was someone from our neighborhood, which was called and known as The Shred.

Sitting still I gazed at the television thinking about my premonition,
I was hoping it wasn’t the person whom I had envisioned,
Sick was the first person who came to my mind.
I said, Oh Lord, please no more death at this time.

Following my first mind, I rushed to the hospital to see if it was Sick,
The doctor asked me if I could and would identify this man,
I said I know this man and yes I can,
I told the doctor we all called him Sick but his true birth name was Rick.

The doctor continued with the scenario of what his gunshot wounds were,
The doctor also told of Sick’s last words of what the strife Sick had incurred,
At this time all the doctors gathered around me, while one told me he held on to his life as long as he could
for there was nothing else they could do or would,

Another doctor said, Sick was screaming and shouting for us to save his life,
He asked this particular doctor to call the woman who gave him the best advice.

RIP SICK.

SPINNING

SPINNING

Spinning around in a circle of wind, nimbus clouds and weather of hail
One only knows how dizzying a strong wind can prevail
Be it in the mid of day or be it in the early morning night
One will just continue spinning until they get it right

While the sun rises up spinning light into your eyes
Waking up will relieve  from the spinning full of sighs
Seems as though daylight starts to gleam
Just to think this may be only another twirling dream

Circling and twirling, twisting and turning too
Allowing for a chill to gust through the mist and moisture anew
Round and round  spinning all tables turning to the wind
Beckoning one’s call out to the spinning of the spinning day’s end

Gazing at a very dark cloud spinning around the house
Recognized as a twister spinning strong and ready to oust
Must get ready to get cover beneath the stairs for the force
Stables bust open get saved by the spinning horse

I ALWAYS CAME TO SHARE

I Always Came To Share

You felt so alone I had to wonder why
I thought to myself how could this be
I rose to the occasion to show you how to smile again
Showing love for you as God had given to me

You would always appear to me to be disappointed
Fighting many of the  demons of your past
This is why God had placed me into your life to begin
All you did was complain, yell and scream to no end

When you were down in your life I always came to share
Therefore you thought you knew that I would always be there

You had to know I was a blessing sent to you with two doves
God’s message to me was to show you again how to love
You did not think for one moment what was sent to you
For playing with your demons was all you knew

Now you’re lonely, bitter, evil and even hateful too
Casting stones for no reason to make you feel good
To no avail will you ever get what you may want out of life
Just for that selfish personality called misunderstood

Excuse after excuse will  never get you nowhere
Making haste out of waste is also just as bad
Had you realized what you had from the very start
You could have had a beautiful love, oh what an art

One should never take a true love given for granted
Thinking you must prove an upper hand
For in this life promises get broken each and everyday
So you must understand that life can deal you a bad hand

Mending  your wicked ways is always best for you
If life lessons hasn’t shown you this as of yet
All you must do to make a better way in your heart is:
You must redeem the evil behavior that you invest

When you were down in your life, I always came to share
Therefore you thought you knew that I would always be there
You must show appreciation, in return for the best love of all
If not, well then obviously this is not your call

For I Am a Queen

For I am A Queen I walk with confidence and I never waiver, I love with my true heart, I oh so savor

In history we always talk about his story
In herstory it is time we talk about her story

For I am A Queen

I walk with confidence and I never waiver
I love with my true heart, I oh so savor
You will not always see me, for I am Royal
Proper, clean, strong, and witty, for I am Loyal
For I am a Queen

You can bet your bottom dollar
When a queen strolls into a  room, all will holler
I give the best a hierarchy can give
Spreading love, joy, peace, and a brighter way to live
For I am a Queen

I put my faith in front of all that I do
What matters most, I put forth an effort to show you
I lead by the challenges, in hearts I save
I give it up to the most highest one, who said I was not a slave
For I am a Queen

I show by example, what a Queen can and will do
She will put on her crown with a power to secure you
I am a Queen from birth, I am a Queen from the planet earth
You cannot measure me by lengths or girths
For I am a Queen

When I rip the runways of this life I want you all to know
I have been put here with a purpose to give you all the low
My purpose is loud and clear remember me
My impact is to let you know confidence is key
For I am a Queen

A Nature Course

A Nature Course

Like the sparkle of spring water
Like the ray of sun
Like the motion of the ocean
Like the whistle of wind
Like the gusting of sand
Like the smell of air
Like the wet of rain
Like the creatures of nature
Like the beauty of flower
Like it all for nature is on a steady course

Taste of spring water
Energy of sun
Coolness of ocean
Sound of wind
Color of sand
Crisp of air
Moisture of rain
Creatures of  land
Bloom of flower
Nature is on a changing course

Liquidity in spring water dried
UV  in sun burned
Force in oceans flooding
Chill in winds freezing
Grit in sand stormed
Breath of air polluted
Rise of rain drowning
Bud of flower wilted
Creatures of nature demise
Nature took a turn for the worse of course

We Are Creatures of Nature

We Are Creatures of Nature

We are creatures of nature
We must do what God said to do
We need to clean this land
One by one and hand by hand

We are creatures of nature
We need to fix what we can
We need more love and togetherness
We know of the old wise man

We are creatures of nature
We must do better for fellow man
We must join together one by one
We have to do this hand in hand

We are creatures of nature
Let us not reap what we sow
We need to sow seeds together
For our green earth to continue to grow

We are creatures of nature
We were put all over this land
It takes all of us to do what’s right
So we can follow God’s plan

We are creatures of nature
However we choose
Now if we don’t clean up God’s earth
We the people will only loose

We are creatures of nature
No need to explain
We are all put here for a purpose
To live in harmony, without the pain

We are creatures of nature
We just cannot let it be
We have choices in life
To make it all worth it for you and me

We are creatures of nature
We must love it too
For if the ground we walk on is not cleaned up
We will end up in doom

We are creatures of nature
We must do what’s right
We have got to lift each other up in prayer
We must save each other’s lives

We are creatures of nature
We know our Father loves us so
We got to give it all up to God
We must now bow our heads and nod
Amen
